Personal Trainer Bio/ Background

My name is Eddie; I am a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer in St Johns, FL and Specialist in Fitness Nutrition with the International Sports and Science Association. I have taken courses in Fall Prevention, Improving Balance in Older Adults and Developmental Disabilities. I have attended several physical therapies, rehabilitation and many other health professional seminars.
 
I previously worked as a Community Gym Director where I initiated and completed a total renovation of the Fitness Facility. Besides having my own Personal Training business there, I organized a Volunteer Committee to oversee the Clubhouse Gym. I also began a class for weight lifting safety.
 
I have been involved in Athletics and Fitness for over 25 years and I love watching people achieve their fitness goals. Some people think Trainers are “super human people” but I definitely understand that we are all human and have good days and bad days. I have been able to relate to people on not only a professional level but a caring, understanding and concerned level.
 
I have seen the significance of identifying special populations and caring for each person as a unique individual. I am convinced that using correct form and technique using gradual progression; getting the proper nutrition and maintaining a positive mental attitude are keys to reaching your fitness goals!
