Bio/ Background
Lisa graduated
from Michigan State University with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Kinesiology and
specialization in Athletic Training. She has 6
years of experience as a personal trainer. She
is a certified athletic trainer through the
National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA)
and a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength
and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

While at MSU, she worked as an athletic trainer
with a variety of varsity teams including
football, basketball, soccer, swimming and
golf. Before moving to Colorado, she worked
for Lakeshore Athletic Club in Chicago and
coached for Well-Fit Triathlon and Training as
well. She currently trains at the Breckenridge
Recreation Center and at Aria Spa in Fitness
Club in Vail, CO.
Lisa has
experience working with any individual; from
those just beginning a fitness program to
competitive athletes. She believes that core
strength is a very essential aspect to all
fitness programs and places a strong emphasis on
functional training. As an athletic trainer,
she also has an extensive knowledge in post
injury rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Her background as a competitive gymnast has led
her to becoming very involved in endurance
sports; having completed 3 Ironman triathlons,
10 marathons (including Boston and Chicago), and
is also very competitive in Xterra triathlons
and adventure racing.
Lisa believes
exercise is essential to leading a healthy
lifestyle and that any goal can be achieved with
focus and dedication. She is there to motivate
you to reach these goals by providing guidance
and advice in all aspects of health and
fitness. Outside of the gym and training, she
enjoys skiing, mountain biking, sporting events,
and traveling.
