Personal Trainer Bio/ Background

 
My name is Alicia Stokes and I am a Personal Trainer in Durham, NC and the areas listed above in North Carolina. I graduated from UNC in 2006 with a degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training with a specialty in Strength and Conditioning.

I am currently living in Durham NC and working with clients in Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas. I work with athletes training for professional level sports in football, basketball and soccer. Most of my time at UNC was spent working with injury prevention in athletes, as well as rehabilitation post injuries or post surgery.

 
I also work with adult populations in the areas of special conditioning, total body conditioning and sports specific conditioning (golf, racquetball, tennis, biking, triathlon training, etc). One of the more growing populations of rehabilitation that I specialize in with respect to adults is returning into activity after total joint replacements, specifically total hip and total knee replacements.
 
I mold and modify each client’s exercise protocol to fit their specific needs and goals within their program. I work with patients ages 13-85, so a wide range of exercise regimens are available.

Whether you are a stay at home parent or an on the go individual, you will find that my client’s satisfaction is exemplary and my educational expertise is unmatched.
